A lot of news!

This past weekend/week has been crazy busy what with my girlfriend's wedding, Halloween and just trying to get in some time with Lieutenant.

On October 30th, Lieutenant and I attended the wedding and it was beautiful. I may just be biased but I think that I took better photos than the photographer and this is without any editing:

It was a beautiful ceremony and I am so happy for them!

Then came Halloween and being able to see the kids was so wonderful! They all looked adorable. Here is a shot of my silly nieces before they took a video for Grandma and Grandpa:

And then Lieutenant and I had some much needed time together. First we went to the mall where I gleefully made him try on these:

Then sat outside for a couple hours when he went to drop me off (my nephew likes to steal my keys so I have to wait for someone to get home) and Lieutenant had me cracking up. Not only was he doing his infamous car dancing but he saw a man selling corn on a stick and started freaking out. At first I was skeptical...I mean, wouldn't you be skeptical of a man selling corn on a stick out of a cooler and a shopping cart?

Not Lieutenant! He proclaimed that he was "reaching out culturally" and so he went to buy one. I gave in after he had scarfed down the whole corn on the cob, which was slathered in mayonnaise, butter, and parmesan cheese, and he bought me one.

MAN was I ever wrong! This corn was delicious and by the time I had eaten half and Lieutenant begged me for the other half, it was all we could think about. Since it is so easy, I am definitely making this quick treat for us sometime.

Well that's what happened in my life lately, what about you?

  2. I actually made her a wedding video as my gift, which for some reason is not viewable in Germany! Haha!

The corn on the cob was sooo tasty, Mindi! You really do have to try it. I was told to add chili powder after slathering on the mayo, butter and parmesan.
