The last one is the regular camera setting on my phone. My nephew wanted to play on the playground so missy got all of the photographs.

For the lack of pictures in the blog
Here are some cute ones of my brother's kids today at the park. Camera used was an LG Optimus S in RetroCamera, Polarandroid and ToyCam.
After 5 years of procrastinating...
I finally got my driver's license. Okay, stop the snickering and I will tell you why.
Growing up as the youngest in a family of five, the last thing a 16 year old thinks about is getting a car or a permit. I know it seems like a rite of passage at that age, and sure it probably is - if you're an only child or semi-well off. But my dad was a single parent who worked his butt off to put food on the table and he taught me that if I wanted something, I would earn it.
Well Lieutenant broke that deal right in half when he bought me my car. Soon after he bought it, as I mentioned before - for $21 - we got our PCS orders and I knew we would be driving there.
I managed to pry myself off of the couch at 3 a.m. and get to the DMV where after 3 minutes of driving and hitting a curb, the instructor failed me. So I came back the next day and they wouldn't see me because I was 17th in line to test. So we drove to ANOTHER DMV and they were closed. So then we drove to ANOTHER DMV and were 25th in line. So I said screw it and we went to eat and then went home.
The next day I was fed up with a capital F. Lieutenant had to work so I got up at 3 a.m. again and drove myself (illegally) to a little known DMV. I was FIRST in line and I passed after 10 minutes! I told the instructor that she saved my life and I was two seconds from giving her the biggest hug I could....but then I might have changed her mind! So instead I thanked her profusley and drove my happy ass to get an energy drink and chocolate.Oh you know I did.
I honestly never want to go through that again. I hate the DMV with so much passion. It is the one place where NOBODY wants to be and EVERYONE has anxiety about - even the employees.
Ces't la vie.

Burning bridges.
I have absolutely had enough of this job. I've said it before and I will say it again, I hate retail. More importantly, I hate the needy customers. I mean, I can go into a store and find my own clothes and I honestly don't want to be bothered. Our customers want you to be their girlfriend and shop with them and tell them how cute they look - not just for a few minutes but for an HOUR. Then you have your extreme couponers: Those who buy $3 clearance items and expect to be able to use their $10 off coupon. All I can think is "are you kidding me here because this has to be a joke."
I had to yell at one of my associates yesterday because she doesn't listen to me. She likes to gossip and personal shop with one customer for hours when she has stuff to do. Then she clocks out without doing any of it and its on me and one or two other people to get it all done. Well yesterday I had had enough. I was delegating her tasks to her to do before her shift was over and she WALKED AWAY in the middle of my sentence. So I told her to meet me in the back room and I told her that the way she was acting was disrespectful and we would have a meeting with the store manager. I got off the phone with my store manager and delegated another task to her and she started arguing with me loudly in front of customers. Every time I tried to talk she would interject with some protest and I couldn't take it anymore. I told her that if she wasn't going to listen to me than she needed to leave. She is the first employee that has made my blood boil. After scolding her, I was shaking out of anger so much that I had to stay in the back of the store just so I wouldn't say something that would make me lose my job. Next Friday, which is my birthday, is the day we are supposed to have the meeting and I am beyond pissed. I hate this employee and I hate this job.
On top of all of that, the lady at the DMV auto failed me for parallel parking errors. Then I went there today and was the last person for standby so I just left. I would have stayed but of course I have to drop everything in my life for this god damn job. Time is running out and if I don't get in there and pass this test, Lieutenant is going to Texas alone. I honestly just feel like crying right now. I am doing horrible in school, I never get to see my husband, I deal with crazy ass women at work and then I come home to insomnia where I can't fall asleep until 4am.
I am burnt out.

A very early Mother's Day present to my family.
I figured I would not have the time to do this come Mother's Day so here are some pictures I put together for my sisters and my mom. This is going to lack the usual sarcasm so here is a filler for those of you non-sappy people:
And now back to your regularly schedules sap post:
And for my other sister who's eggo is not yet preggo:
Happy Mother's Day!

Ooh Baby!
My insomnia truly has gotten the best of me, hence the brand spankin' new layout. I have been wanting to create a new layout for the longest time and well, lets be honest - the last one was crap!
So I sat down, found a blog template that Lieutenant sent to me, tweaked it here and there, added some stuff and WA-LA! Its my first one so obviously I'm going to put down my scepter as Queen of the Internet and let my hubby fix some things.
Oh! And three cheers for Pixlr! Lieutenant tries to teach me Photoshop but I just don't have the patience. This website was pretty much the same thing except it had less random YouTube videos (because you KNOW I was searching for a good how-to.) I actually know how to use the wand now instead of
I should be asleep now, feeling accomplished and proud......neh, time to play CityVille. What?...No I am not addicted to the game...Well, maybe a little.

In desperate need of chocolate.
I haven't been able to fall asleep all night. I packed a box of things I needed but didn't need that bad that it couldn't wait until Texas. I also packed a bag of clothing to donate to goodwill. But - and here's where the laundry gets aired - I am terrified that we won't make it.
Its no surprise that new couples starting out aren't going to be rich, but we are flat out BROKE. Also, we can't get housing until he is active duty and since Randolph decided to privatize housing, its a 4 to 5 month wait MINIMUM. So a 1300 mile drive in 3 days, no furniture, no money, no house...shit is about to hit the fan, I can feel it. All we have is our love and to be honest I think that is the one thing keeping us going. I have been taking as many hours at work as I can to try and pay for the gas up there and I just don't think it will be enough.
In addition to that, I KNOW I am going to be a hermit in Texas. I looked and all the O wives are old. Like, 50. And what is this nonsense that I can't associate with enlisted wives? I'm just going to pull that bullshit card right now. I don't wear the rank nor do I want to talk about what HE does all day. Therefore, I'm going to either have to hang out with old women or break some rules. Baby, I'm a rule breaker.
Sushi and chocolate. I need it.

I am back!
Hello blogosphere! I am so so so so SORRY for not blogging. So much has happened and I just have not found the time (or the wifi) to blog. So lets start things off with a little drama!
I got kicked out of my "friend's" house because she accused me of stealing her pants....I know, ladies, you don't even have to say it. I can hear the "WHAT THE HELL" coming from your computer to mine already. Needless to say, we are no longer friends. It is sad that someone you've been friends with since the fourth grade would do something so petty but you can't change people you can only change yourself. So I moved in with my sister and her family until my brother got a new apartment.
Oh and if I forgot to mention it, he commissioned!
Then...Lieutenant got his orders. Randolph AFB in Texas! We realized that I couldn't go with him for the 8+ month PCS unless we were married so...
Unfortunately, we aren't living together still....4 weeks to the day until we move so we figured to hell with it, and we'll save a bundle for our house in Texas. Unconventional? Yes. Fun? No. Practical? Absolutely.
Until then I am tying my loose ends at work and saving up for the craziest thing I've ever done! Life starts NOW.
