Head on over to Wife of A Sailor and fill out your own ;)
1. A different twist on last week’s question. This week, the first question is: what’s the nicest thing a MILSPOUSE has ever done for you? (brought to you from navy_smurfette)
Honestly, this blog is the most interaction I have ever had with a milspouse. Just talking to me is the nicest thing. I love the interaction and camaraderie!
2. How often do you drive faster than the speed limit?
Rarely. I go max five over, every other time I am the person who people hate: the granny driver who doesn't like the radio on.
3. Did you have a nickname in school? If so, what was it?
Hahah. Oh man, so many stupid names. Cadet Kermit when I was in AFJROTC, Lulu was my alias when I was a local band promoter, and then my best friend always called me her "asian."
4. If your life was a book, what would the title be and how would it end?
Lieutenant and I plan on writing memoirs. Its on my life list to do before I die so I figured we'd collaborate and publish it for our kids and their kids and their kids. Not too sure what we'd title it but it would definitely end with "everything happens for a reason."
5. Look back (in your planner if you have one) to September 14th… what did you do that day?
.
I don't keep a planner but most likely I was in my english class writing a 10 page paper on the life and works of Howard Hughes. Hoorah aviation!

That's cool you both plan on writing memoirs. Do you plan on writing them for mass consumption, or just for your kids to have a family history?
ReplyDeleteI love the ending of your book!
ReplyDeleteAmanda I originally wanted to write them for mass consumption. Lieutenant and I have such a deep history that I think people could identify with and that I think people will want to read about. I've always felt like our love was a storyline in "The Notebook." I figure we can get them published for our family so they can have where it all started and if they like it enough we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
ReplyDeleteWife of a Sailor, thank you!!
I'm writing a book too!
ReplyDeleteAwesome Mrs S. I look forward to that ;)
