I was supposed to have a dental appointment today. My first one..ever. Yeah you read it right, ever. I have never been to the dentist. Growing up, we just couldn't afford it. But I digress...so I was going to go today and get inital xrays and a cleaning until I read that the place I chose had 100% bad reviews. Go me to choose a crappy place! Now I have to wait until Monday to schedule an appointment with a practice that has gotten 100% good reviews.
I've also been brushing ummm 3-4 times a day, whitening rinsing, flossing, using mouthwash...I'm a little bit paranoid. I need a LOT of work, considering I fell off of a table when I was very young and my teeth grew in wrong. But I am excited, sooo excited that it is finally happening!
We also met up with a friend of Lieutenant's that lives in our apartment complex and was in his old squadron. When I sent Lieutenant homemade brownies and cookies right before he came home, his friend gladly accepted them in his place and dispersed them throughout the group of instructor pilots and those in training. He told me that they were a hit!! He said that the instructor pilot liked them so much that he told his wife and I guess she felt some competition because the next day he showed up with her homemade brownies!! It is a bit of an ego boost, I must say. I am glad that I perfected a craft and that every day I get better at cooking homemade and stepping away from boxed meals.
I even made some macaroni and cheese just now for my "starving" hubby! Well that is all the news for now...here is my final post for the 10 day challenge:
Day 10: One picture of yourself -
This is a picture I took one night in a casino waiting on my hubby and his best friend to get their fix. It is how I hope to smile in the future with perfectly straight teeth :)

I sent in baked goods every week when my husband was in pilot training. This lead to me being the designated "class mom" and I also become responsible for making the Nacho Flight Wednesday Queso. Haha. I hope your first dentist appointment goes well. It might be a bit unpleasant because it is your first one, but don't let that scare you away!
