Oh good God, you guys. I have found the secret to happy low-carbing. How many of you love chips? Oh, so then you're like me...a chipaholic. I love all kinds of chips: potato chips, corn chips, tortilla chips, chocolate chips. I'm a chip connoisseur! If it is a chip or can be made into one, its mine all mine!
So, let's talk about jicama, baby.
Oh jicama, sweet, nutty, but oh so ugly jicama. I've never had jicama before in my life but when I noticed it was a go to vegetable on my diet (which I've been trailing away from ever since Lieutenant came home...thanks mashed potato king!) I knew I had to try it.
HOLY CATCHPHRASE, BATMAN! These are DELICIOUS. Throw a little salt or salt substitute, some garlic powder and some onion powder and you've got a perfect little "sneak it in the movie theater" snack!
I only have one photo for you guys because I kept eating them...and eating them...and eating them.
Psh diet, you can't hold me down. A girl like me is going to get her chips one way or another!
