Dang, I haven't done one of these in a while!
- My plans for this weekend include homework, begging my puppy to stop digging and stay out of the mud and trying to drag my husband to the big marketplace and to see a movie with me, but what I’d really like to do is have a homework free weekend, have a puppy who despises mud and digging and not sitting still for pictures, and having a husband who would LOVE to go to local markets with me and see a non-husband picked movie.
- I consider the Labor Day holiday another day for Americans to be lazy, barbecue and watch sports...but this time its on a calender.
- My favorite meal for cookouts is polish sausage, but my _________________ wouldn’t agree. Who the hell wouldn't agree? Have you BEEN to Rudy's??
- So far, my favorite part of summer has been staying in my house and reading and NOT sweating my life away. Texas, this is bullshit.

When it comes to deployments, my philosophy is hurry up and go so you can come home. Also, be safe...and bring me a present...like Hadji Mountain Dew.
