We enrolled her in puppy training classes. I lied about her age to get her in the time slot I wanted. She's 8.5 weeks and said by the 7th she'd be 10 weeks. Who freaking is counting half a week? Not me. Plus they gave me a free training clicker. I feel like queen of the castle with this clicker, seriously, because she listens to me! I have to learn to carry the treats with me but I'm not wearing the fanny pack that the trainer does.
Anyway, Lieutenant wrote a letter explaining to the Air Force why they should keep him in and it kind of broke my heart to read it. The military is Lieutenant's entire life, his dream since childhood and his plan for the rest of his life for the next 20+ years. Hell, as long as we're being honest here, military life has been both of our dreams. Because the military takes care of their people and out there in the "real world" it is inevitably a scarier, harder life.
Regardless of what happens, I am going to support him. We've both grown up a lot since moving away from home and the comforts of having our families 5-20 minutes away. We'll just have to weather the storm out until we see the sun again, together.
Green is so cute! I would have done the same with the training class. Like you said, who cares about 1/2 a week?! Good luck with that letter. I really hope that things work out for you two.

Its never too early to enroll training classes, I'm sure she'll catch a lot like her sire as he was sooooo easy to train!!! Good luck and I will keep checking your blogs and statuses!
