Disappointed.

I've gotta say...I am really disappointed in some of the people that represent the military. I and many others have been attacked via a Facebook page by military personnel AND their wives. I honestly feel sick to my stomach...I won't mention the page because they don't deserve the publicity but I'm just angered by these people. But yes, I, a twenty-two year old woman, was cyber-bullied. The military makes up 1% of the country's population. We're supposed to be a family who is there for each other but that is just not how it is.

As a wife that is new to the military, this has completely changed my view on a lot of things. No longer do I want to take the chance of meeting other wives or making friends at each base. There's just no way that I can do that now. I have trust issues as it is and this just made it worse.

People can say "not everyone is like this" but honestly, we're human and we are judgmental and more often than not we don't think before we speak. I don't want to be a target and I don't need anymore fake people in my life than I have already had.

I'm angered that I have to be associated with these people and I'm hurt that my husband has to rely on these people to have his back when they are so eager to stab at anyone who is different from them or disagrees with how they feel.
