I've been thinking

I don't want to have a memory of this Christmas being terrible so I'm going to suck it up and be thankful for everything we have. It isn't the ideal Christmas but that's okay..we have a home and our dog and an adorable little tree.

I'm so blessed to have the husband that I do - devoted to his country and his family. He provides for us and has really shown me what the meaning of Christmas is.

It is really easy to feel bad about our situation but it takes a lot of work to bring myself out of this funk. So I'm going to celebrate our life together, regardless of what has happened and make the best out of this Christmas.
