So AMAZING!

I might be too quick to post this but Lieutenant just got a job change!! I am reluctant to post it on this blog but I will say that we are headed to Texas if his flight physical checks out. Do you know what that means? NO MORE SNOWY HELL. No more Minot! Oh...and I guess its awesome that he got the job he wanted also.

What's even more wonderful is that his Colonel came up to him personally with the news. I guess all the pressure he put on him over the years finally bonded them together!

We also have a chance of staying right here where my entire family lives. If that happens, I might cry. I'll get to see my nieces and nephews grow up after all, at least for the next 5 years.

Permanent grin, ladies, permanent. Now lets just pray this physical checks out!!

Oh and as a P.S. Molly Danger is holding a giveaway. Ladies get your butts over to her blog and enter:

Married My Airman

SIC: "The company is Products for Good, yes other people are giving these away too.  There is this lady named Anne who's passing out coins in a pay it forward type thing.  They are encouraging people to pass out these coins to military folks.  Their purpose is to be able to donate 20 million dollars to various military charities to help the men and women who come home and need help. If you don't feel like you deserve something like this (like myself), give it to someone who does.  It can be your husband who's new to the AF, your step-dad who's been out of the military for 40 years, your brother who has returned from a deployment, some random dude on the side of the road, etc.  These coins were meant to be passed out to military folks so that we can show our appreciation for their service. "

Molly is a fantastic blogger, so follow her if you aren't already!

  2. Oh Molly! :) Its not definite yet, he's still gotta get the OK from Texas. But I'm banking on it. I'll cry frozen tears if I get sent to Minot!

  3. I'm telling you, it really grows on you, it is starting to feel warm around here! LOL. We're busting out the bunny suit tomorrow, I think, and taking pictures to show just how deep the snow is right now. It completely snuck up on us until we looked around today and realized just how deep it was. WhyNot is kinda interesting... us enlisted folks are allowed to hang out with the officer's wives which is apparently not the case on other bases. But being close to family would be nice too.
