My puppy is arguably the most adorable, fun loving, crazy Labrador I have ever seen. At the same time she can drive me crazy. If something is in her reach, she tries to eat it, play with it, chew it to shreds. She has yet to touch my flip flops though which is wonderful, since every other rubber item is free game to her.
Today I was making her lunch (Boiled rice mixed with dog food) and she had eaten the head of my small spatula. I opened her mouth: nothing. I shook her head: nothing. Then I Googled: Hydrogen peroxide. It was my only choice short of taking her to the vet...again. So I stuck her in the bath, gave her two tablespoons full and five minutes later I was sorting my way through a mountain of puppy throw up trying to find the plastic head. I did and a huge sigh of relief came over me. After we cleaned up, I gave her pedialyte and she went on playing as she normally does. *sigh* Not sure how I am going to deal once she gets older and can reach everything else.
Anyway we went outside for a hopeful photo opportunity and sometimes I'll get shots like this:
But 90% come out like this:
Oh, she's definitely mine. And with all her crazy ways, I love her still and so much.
